What is Accounts receivable aging?
An aging report groups unpaid invoices by how long they have been overdue, usually Current, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90 and 90+ days. It shows where your receivables are getting old.
Example
Of ₹16.2 Cr outstanding, ₹10.5 Cr is current and ₹2.7 Cr is more than 120 days overdue. That ₹2.7 Cr is your biggest collection risk.
Why it matters
The older an invoice gets, the less likely it is to be paid in full. Watching money move between buckets each week tells you where to focus before balances turn into write-offs.
In Creditouch
Aging appears on the dashboard, the debtor list and every account page. Click any bucket to see exactly which debtors and invoices are in it. Buckets are configurable.
